GAPS

GAPSGAPS is an acronym for Gut And Psychology Syndrome, described by the British physician, Natasha Campbell-McBride, MD, MMedSci(neurology), MMedSci(Nutrition). The GAPS problem underlies most of the “diseases of civilization” like heart disease, stroke, obesity, high blood pressure and autoimmune diseases including arthritis. It also underlies autism and much of the unrest and emotional pain that we are seeing in young people.

The GAPS protocol specifically addresses autism, depression, hyperactivity, ADD/ADHD, allergies, asthma, autoimmune disorders of all kinds, Polycystic Ovary Disease and chronic inflammation. For more information on conditions that can be helped by using the GAPS protocol see www.gaps.me.

Marsha completed training as a GAPS Practitioner with Dr. Campbell-McBride in November of 2012. Appointments to discuss the possibilities of GAPS can be phone appointments. Appointments to begin using GAPS are 3 hours or more and must be in person visits. Follow up appointments can be over the phone and are usually one hour or less.

All appointment charges are based on Marsha’s standard rate of $100 per contact hour. All fees are negotiable. It is Marsha’s intention to be available to the people who need her services and sometimes families with small children, elders on fixed incomes, etc. may find $100/hour prohibitive. If you would like to work with Marsha and need a fee reduction, please consider what you could afford and contact her. She also has been known to accept barter arrangements.
